Al Browning, 65, of Nashville, died Saturday September 28, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

He was born May 12, 1954 in Cook County to the late L.A. Browning and the late Sue Gaskins Browning. He was a retired educator with the Berrien County Board of Education and was a conservationist and board member for Rivers Alive. He was member of the Nashville First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a sister: Phyllis Waters.

He is survived by his daughter: Sarah Browning of Nashville; son: Jessie Browning of Griffin; brother: Rodney (Dianne) Browning of Brooks; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 2, 2019 at 6:30 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Nate Lehman officiating. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
