Obituary

Rhoda Alene Nash Griner, 94, of Nashville died Tuesday March 19, 2019 at SGMC - Berrien Campus.

She was born December 12, 1924 in Berrien County to the late Calvin Buie Nash and the late Nellie Carter Nash.  She was a homemaker, worked for C & D Textile in Adel and retired from Nashville Textile.  She attended Flat Creek Church and was the widow of June T. Griner who died in 1979.  She was also preceded in death by a sister: Nelda Smith; and 2 brothers: Carson Nash and Terrell Nash.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Inell (Vinson) Griffin of Alapaha and Hilda (Ted) Lewis of Adel; 2 sons: Wesley (Andrea) Griner and James (June) Griner both of Nashville, 10 grandchildren: Kathy (David) Ladner, Mark (Melinda) Griffin, Gwyn (Tony) Thornton, Ken (Rhonda) Lewis, Craig Lewis, Velvet (Rodney) Griner Hobbs, Jason (Beverly) Griner, Terri (Trey) Craven, Chris Griner and Kim (Robert) Fordham; 27 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 23, 2019 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Sim Youngblood, Rev. Phillip Bagley and Rev. Mark Swain officiating.  Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.   Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
