Alice Hilda Holton's Obituary
Alice Hilda Holton, 77, of Forest Park died Wednesday October 16, 2013 in the Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale.
She was born December 10, 1935 in Cook County to the late Western Columbus Powers and the late Toye Ethel Weeks. She was a retired service representative with Southern Bell and was employed by Southern Regional Medical Center as a PBX operator. She was the widow of Jacky Thomas Holton who died in 1992.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Angela Holton (Greg) Thomas of Forest Park, and Paula Holton Valdez of Savannah; 5 grandchildren: Bethany Thomas, Jackie Russell, Danny Russell, Dallas Russell, and Larenzo Valdez; 3 sisters: Emma Jean Lewis of Nashville, Margaret Flowers of Adel, and Eva Nell (Sherwood) King of Nashville; 1 brother: Chris Powers of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 19, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
