Alice Trowell, 83, of Nashville, died Tuesday December 9, 2014 at the SGMC Berrien Campus.
She was born September 28, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Allen Gibbs and the late Gertrude Godwin Gibbs. She was a homemaker, retired from Adel Metal Products as a press machine operator and was a member of Flat Creek Church. She was the widow of Arthur Trowell who died in 1999 and was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Susan (Randy) Warren of Nashville and Janice Trowell of Nashville; son: Robert (Shirley) Trowell of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Robert Trowell, Jr, Malinda (Darren) Vaughn, and Amanda (Josh) Moore; 5 great grandchildren: Lance Trowell, Clay Trowell, Casey Mathis, Breanna Trowell, and Mallorie Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 12, 2014 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Phillip Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
