Aline Harpe, 82, of Ray City, died Thursday December 13, 2012 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born November 3, 1930 in Berrien County to the late John S. Fender and the late Della Connell. She was a homemaker and had been employed with Nashville Mills in quality control. She was a member of the Ray City First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister: Mildred Hamn.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Linda Browning of Birmingham, AL, Joyce Burton of Calabasas, CA, Marjorie Cooper of Winifrede, WVA; 3 sons: Howell Harpe of Ray City, Johnny Harpe of Ray City, Marion Harpe , Jr of Ray City; 2 sisters: Kathleen Adrian of Nashville, Barbara Durrance of Nashville; brother: Wayne Fender of Nashville; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren. The family would like to thank her daughter-in-law Stephanie, for her help and support during this time.
Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday December 16, 2012 at 4 PM in the Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Connell and the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 3 PM to 3:45 PM.
