Allen Knowles' Obituary
Allen Knowles, 73, of Nashville died Wednesday September 14, 2011 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
He was born October 11, 1937 in Berrien County to the late Reuben Knowles and the late Pearlie Griffin. He retired from the maintenance department with the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Dianne Stone of Nashville and Lisa Jones of Lakeland; 2 sons: Richard Knowles and Gary Knowles both of Nashville; step son: Wayne Stanford of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday September 17, 2011 at 4 PM in the Brushy Creek cemetery in Cook County with the Rev. Phillip Simmons and the Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. Visitation is Saturday from 2 PM until hour of services
