Allene Brown, 92, of Nashville, died Tuesday August 5, 2025, at the Lakeside Senior Living in Douglas.

She was born April 6, 1933, in Berrien County to the late Tom Watson Shaw and the late Maggie Ora Devane Shaw. She was a homemaker and widow of Carlton Brown who died in 2008. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Martha Keffer, Betty Vickers, Doris Whitley and Mary Catoe; brother: Tom Shaw.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Toni (Layne) Keaton of Pearson, Carla (Joe) Kirkland of Blackshear and Donna Sherman of Eastpoint, FL; son: Ricky (Lynn) Brown of Tifton; brother: Raymond (Sheila) Shaw of Nashville; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 8, 2025, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Abell and Rev. Mario Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
