Clarence Amos Luke, 96, of Nashville died Monday June 27, 2016 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
He was born March 11, 1920 in Berrien County to the late James Ollie Luke and the late Lessie Hall Luke. He was a retired carpenter, served in U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his wives, Willie Mae Roland Luke and Betty Singletary Ring Luke; 2 sisters, Lucille Luke and Alma Carter; step son: Dwight Ring.
He is survived by his grandchildren: Doug Roland and Anna Roland both of Nashville; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; a niece, Linda McKinley of Douglasville and a nephew, Wyndell Carter of Milledgeville; step daughter: Denise Ring Watson of Midway; 5 step grandchildren; and 12 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 1, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke and the Rev. Garvey Nichols, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 9 until hour of service.
