Obituary

Anelda Griner, 84, of Nashville, died Wednesday February 10, 2021 in the Fellowship Home.

She was born December 17, 1936 in Tift County to the late John William Baker, Sr. and the late Carrie Elizabeth Weaver. She was a homemaker, worked at Moody AFB for 10 years, worked in the insurance business and was a receptionist for Dr. Henry Decker. She attended Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was the widow of James Paul Griner who died in 2017. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Joseph "Bug" Baker and J.W. Baker, Jr

She is survived by 3 sons; Greg Griner from Nashville, Don (Pam) Griner from Seven Lakes, NC, and Chip Griner of Kathleen; 4 grandchildren: Michael Griner, Catharine Griner, Gretchen Griner, Matt (Taylor) Griner; a great grandson Waylon Samuel Griner; sister; Marie Barber of West Berrien.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 13, 2021 at 12 PM in the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Nix officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is in the church one hour prior to the service.
