Ann Rogers Boatright, 87, of Valdosta, died Tuesday November 26, 2024 in the Langdale Hospice House.
She was born November 16, 1937 in Screven, GA to the late Lee Roy Rogers and the late Ruby Pearl Stanfield. She was a retired lab and X-Ray technician working in Waycross, Folkston and Brunswick. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Brunswick Ward. She was the widow of John Allon Boatright who died in 2022 and was also preceded in death by 2 sons: John Allon Boatright II and John Jeffrey Boatright; 4 brothers: Ralph Eugene (Gene) Rogers, Lee Roy Rogers, Jr, Alfred Vincen Rogers and Larry Rogers; daughter-in-law: Debra Lyn Boatright.
She is survived by her son: John Phillip Boatright of Roy, Utah; daughter-in-law: Libby Garner Boatright of Valdosta; 12 grandchildren: Mitchell John (Kristy) Boatright, Bethann (Paul) Mahnke, Meghan (Carl) Gibson, John Christopher Boatright, Ashlin (Sam) Heath, John Jeffrey Boatright, Jr, John Mikell Boatright, Janna (Austin) Walton, John Allon (Jay) Boatright III and Maggie Elizabeth Boatright; 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday December 1, 2024 at 2 PM in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints Nashville Ward. Visitation is Sunday one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be Monday December 2, 2024 at 2 PM in the Screven City cemetery. Her family wants to thank the staff of Langdale Place and Langdale Hospice House for all their care and love.
