Ann Tygart Jones, 89, of Nashville died Wednesday February 28, 2018 at the Fellowship Home Nashville.

She was born January 26, 1929 in Miami, FL to the late Jeff Davis Tygart and the late Frieda Louise Goetz Tygart.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church where she serve in the flower ministry to shut-ins.  She was a charter member of the Gamma Pi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at UGA.  She was a graduate of  Valdosta State College.  She was the widow of Charles Alfred "Charlie" Jones, Jr. who died in 2005 and was also preceded in death by a brother: James C. "Jimmy" Tygart.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Laura (Steve) McMillan of West Berrien, Amy (Rick) Postell of Nashville and Julie Jones of Nashville; 6 grandchildren: Jennifer McMillan, Melissa (Stripling) Luke, Stephen McMillan, Sam Postell, Charlie Postell and Hayley Postell; 2 great grandchildren: Davis Luke and John Ivey Luke.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 3, 2018 at 2 PM at the Nashville United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in Peeples-Tygart Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service.  Memorials are requested to Nashville United Methodist Church, Camp Tygart or Hospice of Tift Area.
