Anne Bartholomew, 79, of Nashville died Monday April 4, 2011 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and retired Curriculum Director with the Berrien County School System, member of Berrien Retired Teachers, member of Delta Kappa Gamma and a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Joseph Richard "Dick" Bennett, Jr and Dr. John Richard Bartholomew.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Debbie (James) Griner of Nashville, Donna (Walter) Clary of Valdosta; brother: Sonny Waller of Augusta; granddaughter: Catherine (Stephen) Ikard of Little Rock,Ar; step daughters: Sarah Bartholomew of Valdosta, and Beth Olsen of Brentwood, Tn; 2 nieces: Natalie Selah and Sarah Ellen (Greg) Foster; step grandsons: Jarrod (Tisha) Griner and Morgan Olsen; step granddaughter: Julie (Casey) Mattox; brother-in-law: Jack Bennett.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 4 PM in the Nashville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russ Elkins and the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Nashville United Methodist Church Caring Place. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM.
