Obituary

Annette Laursen Goncalves, 82, of Enigma died Sunday February 9, 2025, at Berrien Oaks in Nashville.

She was born October 13, 1942, in Dunedin, FL to the late Archer Fredik Laursen and the late Hazel Smith Laursen. She was an artist and enjoyed making jewelry. She expressed her love and thoughts with a needle and thread or a paint brush. She was a member of Flat Creek Church, where she painted the mural of Jesus over the baptistry and was preceded in death by her brother: William (Bill) Laursen.

She is survived by her children: Tony (Rhonda) Clements of Nashville, Vickie (Greg) Shoupe of Enigma, Bonnie (Gary) Hand of Nashville, Hank (Lucy) Clements of Parrish, FL, Danny (Jennifer) Clements of Chattanooga, TN and Gabe Mariano of New York City, NY; 9 grandchildren: Britt (Chris Peele) Ribar, Scott Clements, Monica (David) Smith, Lauren Shoupe, Tyler (Maranda) Shoupe, Tanner Shoupe, Kenny Clements, Eve Clements and Triston Ray; 13 great-grandchildren: Emily Ribar, Catherine Ribar, Charlotte Buchanan, Olivia Smith, Addie Mae Smith, Emma Badger, Lelia (Stephen) Powell, Colton Pitts, Ayden Cox, Atticus Shoupe, Ophelia Shoupe, Henley Shoupe and Hadlee Hamilton.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 12, 2025, at 2 PM in Flat Creek Church with Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Flat Creek Church Youth Fund.
