Audrey Wynell "Nell" Rowan, 86, of Alapaha, died Friday November 25, 2016 in Tift Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 31, 1930 in Irwin County to the late C. Clayton Moore and the late Christie Janie Rowe. She was a homemaker, worked on the family farm and member of the Glory United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Alton Henry Rowan who died on March 18, 2016. She was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law: Gwen and Mike McCranie; son: Michael Rowan.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Kathi (Dewitt) Wright of Valdosta, Ronda Rowan of Alapaha and Fonda Rowan of Hartwell; brother: Autrey (Elizabeth) Moore of Alapaha; 5 grandchildren: Kyle and Blake McCranie, Jared and Audrey Wright and Sara Kathryn LeGette.
Funeral services will be held Monday November 28, 2016 in Glory United Methodist Church at 2 PM with the Rev. Larry Hauser officiating. Entombment will follow in Glory Cemetery. Visitation is Monday at Glory United Methodist Church from noon until hour of service.
