Obituary

Ava Nell Johnson, 85, of Nashville, died Monday December 6, 2021, at her residence.

She was born November 16, 1936 in Berrien County to the late Claude Burton Faulkner and the late Idell Gaskins Faulkner. She was a bookkeeper for Chaparral Boats and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was the widow of Frank Carlton Johnson and was preceded in death by a brother: Everett Faulkner.

She is survived by her daughter: Mitzi (Neil) Yarbrough of Eufaula, AL; son: Rick (Cheryl) Johnson of Nashville; sister: Deborah Watson of Nashville; brother: Jim Faulkner of Fort Myers, FL; sister-in-law: Jean Faulkner of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Miles Yarbrough, Emma Yarbrough, Whitney (Jesse) Skinner, Spencer Johnson and Diana Johnson; 3 nieces: Cheryl Faulkner, Leah Glisson and Kris Nix.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday December 9, 2021 at 11 AM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with Mr. S.G. Solomon officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
