Barbara Dent, age 57 of Valdosta died Wednesday July 21 in the South Georgia Medical Center.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mary (Andy) Sirmans of Baxley and Chrissy Justiss of Valdosta; 2 sons, George Dent of Nashville and William Dent of Valdosta; 2 step sons, Randy Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and Robert Smith of Rome; 4 sisters, Delores Guevara, Brenda Sirmans, Wendy Justiss and Raquel Woods all of Nashville; 5 brothers, Mack Woods, Ronnie Woods and Johnny Woods all of Nashville, Jimmy Woods of Jasper, Fl and Jack Woods of Huntington, WVa; 10 grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 11 am in the New Ramah cemetery in Ray City.

Visitation is Friday morning from 8-10:30 am at the funeral home.
