Barbara Lott, 68, of Nashville, died Sunday May 12, 2024 in the Langdale Hospice House.

She was born January 26, 1956 in Cook County to the late Ernest Purvis and Louve Roland Pafford. She was a homemaker, graduated from VSU with a Master's degree in criminal justice and of the Baptist faith. She loved her family, grandchildren and collecting rocks. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Heather Carter.

She is survived by 2 daughters: LaDonna Lott of Nashville and Angie Powell of Ramer, AL; mother: Louve Pafford of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Lexi and Jesse Powell both of Nashville; great granddaughter: Ansleigh Bonham; sister: Teresa (J.W.) Brown Nashville; brother: Tommy (Rhonda) Purvis of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Her family will honor request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Friday May 17, 2024 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Clanton officiating. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service.
