Barbara Elaine Rogers' Obituary
Barbara Rogers, 66, of Ray City died Thursday December 31, 2015 at the residence of her son.
She was born May 1, 1949 in Lowndes County to the late Curtis Wingate and the late Essie Mae Gunner. She was a homemaker and worked at Susie Q's in Thomasville convenient store chain as security maintenance.
She is survived by her daughter: Teresa (Robert) Hornage of Nashville; son: Steve (Sharon) Rogers of Ray City; brother: Lawton Wingate of Nashville; 2 half brothers: Tim Youmans of Nashville and Ben Wingate of Tennessee; several step siblings; 6 grandchildren: Jade, Ashley, Brittany, Thomas,Katlynn, and Brandon; 4 great grandchildren.
The family will honor her request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Thursday January 7, 2016 at 6 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.
