Barbara Slocumb, 65, of Nashville, died Wednesday January 30, 2019 at her residence.

She was born September 23, 1953 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Swayne Earl Slocumb and the late Mell Pollock Slocumb. She was disabled and of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by 2 sisters: Betty Spires of Nashville and Susanne (Tony) Shore of Athens; brother: Jimmy (Diane) Slocumb of Bainbridge; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her family will honor her request for cremation. A memorial service will be in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home at a later date.
