Barry Thomas Nugent, 61, of Nashville, died Thursday October 26, 2023 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 1, 1962 in Coffee County to the late Jack Nugent and Barbara Douglas Nugent. He was a truck driver, logger and of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by a step daughter: Meghan Blanchard and a sister: Marsha Nugent.

He is survived by his wife: Kim Blanchard Nugent of Nashville; mother: Barbara Nugent of Douglas; 2 brothers: John (Sabrina) Nugent of Mora and Christopher (Christie) Nugent of Axson; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Karen and Owen Brooks of Nashville; step sister-in-law: Barbara (David) Gleason of Ray City; 2 step brothers-in-law: Jake (Mindy) Brooks of Lakeland and Bo (Jan) Brooks of Tifton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 1, 2023 at 5 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
