Beatrice Marie "Bea" Powell, 54, of Nashville, died Sunday July 2, 2023 at SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born December 20, 1968 in Las Cruces, NM to Henry David Powell, Jr and Irene Marie Lopez Powell. She had been employed with the Berrien County Board of Education for about 15 years and attended Faith Chapel. She loved her family, grandchildren and the outdoors. She was preceded in death by a husband: Daniel Powell and a daughter: Faith Powell.

She is survived by her daughter: Hope Odom of Nashville; 2 sons: Buddy (Jackie) Powell of Valdosta and Brandon (Savannah) Harnage of Nashville; father and mother: David and Irene Powell of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Grace Odom, Paige Odom, Haylen Odom and Nathaniel Powell; 2 sisters: Michelle (Peter) Schultz of Nashville and Lisa Lopez of New Mexico; brother: Lonnie Powell of Nashville; former husband: Chris Harnage of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 6, 2023 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Empire cemetery. Visitation is Thursday one hour prior to the service.
