Benjamin Eurey "Ben" Flowers, 40, of Nashville, died Monday August 23, 2021 at his residence.

He was born October 16, 1980 in Jacksonville, FL to Michael Eurey Flowers and Marilyn Tygart Flowers. He was a dedicated SGT in the United States Army, faithfully served 2 tours in Iraq and served in Afghanistan where he received the Purple Heart.

He is survived by his parents: Mike and Marilyn Flowers of Nashville; sister: Carol (Brad) Drew of Valdosta; aunt: Jackie Phillips of Valdosta; uncle: Mark (Wilma) Flowers of Nashville; 2 nephews: Austin Wilson and Dalton (Autumn) Wilson; cousins: Curry Flowers, Chase (Maddie) Flowers, Candi Phillips, Andy (Tessa) Phillips, Jed Brogdon and Josh (Haley) Brogdon.

His family will honor his request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
