Bernice Barber, 93, of the West Berrien Community, died Saturday January 7, 2017 at her residence.

She was born January 9, 1923 in Cook County to the late Leonard Moore and the late Maude Lackler Moore. She was a homemaker and member of Vickers Church. She was the widow of Larry Alton "L.A." Barber who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a son: Lee Barber; son-in-law: Kenny Webb; 2 sisters: Evelyn Brewer and Wilma Anderson; 5 brothers: Hugh Moore, Julian Moore, Ulmer Moore, Gary Moore and Harold Moore.

She is survived by a daughter: Sharon Webb of West Berrien; granddaughter: Kimberly Powell of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday January 9, 2017 at 4 PM in Vickers Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson and Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Visitation is in the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
