Bernice Kathleen Pearson, 87, of Nashville died Tuesday November 29, 2016 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born October 2, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Alvin Purvis and the late Corene Bennett Purvis. She was a retired machinist with Metal Products in Adel and a member of In Jesus Name Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. A.C. Pearson who died in 1985 and a sister: Novella Wiley.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Linda Griffin of Nashville and Carolyn (Verrone) Weeks of Nashville; 2 sons: Ricky (Shirley) Pearson of Nashville and Ronnie (Kim) Pearson of Nashville; sister: Thelma (Bobby) Rowan of Tifton; brother: Vernon (Jean) Purvis of West Berrien; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 2, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Marston Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
