Bernie Joseph Fiskeaux, 76, of Nashville, died Wednesday October 30, 2024 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 1, 1948 in Farmersburg, Indiana to the late Charlie Franklin Fiskeaux and the late Geneva Ruth Bougiter Fiskeaux. He had been employed with Glasstream Boats, AguaTran and was a retired welder with the Boilermakers. He was an active member of Faith Chapel and could be seen many mornings at the local Huddle House. He was preceded in death by his wife: Malinda Wingate Fiskeaux; son: John Fiskeaux; granddaughter: Emily Exum; grandson: Joseph Lee.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Sandra (David) Exum of Nashville and Renee Whiten of Mendenhall, MS; son: Robbie Fiskeaux of Nashville; daughter-in-law: Mimi Fiskeaux of Nashville; 4 sisters: Berdena Schlaick of Buhl, ID, Lorenda Fiskeaux-Sanders of Seneca, SC, Isabell Rundel of Westfield, IN and Frankie Shillington of Wasilla, AK; 5 brothers: Charlie Fiskeaux of Nicholasville, KY, Homer Fiskeaux of Sylva, NC, Ed Fiskeaux of Mountain Rest, SC, Mark Fiskeaux of Mountain Rest, SC and Harvey Fiskeaux of Anchorage, AK; 5 grandchildren: Shawn Bennett of Nashville, Lizzy Bennett of Nashville, Gabe Fiskeaux of Nashville, Katie Fiskeaux of Nashville and L.J. Exum of Nashville; 2 great grandchildren: Brooks and Noah.

Funeral services will be held Thursday November 7, 2024 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry and Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
