Bessie Louise Hon, 87, of Lakeland, died Tuesday July 24, 2012 in the South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born December 23, 1924 in Tallassee, AL to the late Henry Albert Howard and the late Bessie Smith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband: Charles Ray Hon of Lakeland; 2 sons: Tip (Neda Gay) Hon of Ray City and Charles Ray (Barbara) Hon, Jr. of Bushnell, FL; daughter: Gayle Altman of Apopka, FL; sister: Collis Harris of Prattville, AL, brother: Bill Howard of Hollywood, FL; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be held Thursday August 2 at 11 AM in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
