Bessie Lee Walker, 87, of St. Marys died Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Lakes Crossing Senior Care in Kingsland.

She was born January 7, 1938, in Cordele, GA to the late Cecil Kennedy and the late Bernice Barlow Kennedy. She was a homemaker and was a member of Abundant Life Church in Valdosta. She is preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Loyce "Buddy" Walker who died in 2023; 2 daughters: Debra Turner and Pam Delahunt; son: Tim Walker.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Kim (Rusty) Prescot of St. Marys; Dianne (Wilson) Pittman of Welaka, Fl; son: Mike (Tammy) Walker of Valdosta; 2 sisters: Margret Tyre of Lakeland, FL and Carlos Esposito of Lakeland, FL; brother: David Kennedy of Lakeland FL; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 12 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Wood officiating. Private Interment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
