Betty Jean Hawkins, 80, of Nashville, died Wednesday April 7, 2021 at her residence.

She was born September 15, 1940 in Berrien County to the late Rufus Clegg Bray and the late Callie Mae Bryant. She was a homemaker and worked at Nashville Textile for many years. She was the widow of James Oscar Hawkins who died in 2011 and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Douglas Bray and Joe Bray.

She is survived by 3 sons: Mike Hawkins of Nashville, Tim Hawkins of Nashville and Richard Hawkins of Jupiter, FL; grandson: Carl Hawkins; great grandson: Tyler Hawkins.

Her family will honor request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
