Betty Jean Lee Sutton,85, of Nashville died Monday June 19, 2017 at her residence.

She was born August 5, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Robert E. Lee and the late Cordia Bell Knight. She was a homemaker, owner/operator of Betty's Beauty Shop for over 60 years and a member of Nashville United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Virgil Sutton who died in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her father: Newt Turner; 3 sisters: Pauline Pearson, Doris Luke and Gladys Lankford; 3 brothers: Dewey Lee, Ralph Lee and Glen Lee.

She is survived by her daughter: Karon (Jonathan) Fort of Nashville; grandson: Kylon (Jennifer) Fort of Nashville; and 2 great grandsons: Grant and Bruce Fort of Nashville; brother-in-law: Curvis (Joyce) Sutton of Valdosta; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday June 21, 2017 at 11 AM in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Deran Hardeman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
