Betty Bryant Newsom's Obituary
Betty Bryant Newsom, age 76 of Alapaha, died Monday October 25 in the Berrien County Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Newsom of Alapaha; 2 daughters, Gail Newsom of Alapaha and Paula Ivey of Tifton; sister, Carolyn Matsick of Jacksonville, Fl; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Onita Bryant.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 pm in the Alapaha Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Gibbs and Rev. Shelvie Summerlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Fletcher cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
