Obituary

Betty Rose Peters, 90, of Nashville, died Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.

She was born June 12, 1932 in Berrien County to the late Austin Luke and the late Annie Reliford Luke. She was a homemaker and retired machinist with the former Anodizing Products in Adel. She was a member of Flat Creek Church and was the widow of Charles Edward Peters who died in 2013. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: James Luke and Sanford Luke; sister: Margie Dent.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Norma Peters Childre of Reynolds, Grace Peters Taylor of Nashville and Stephanie (Thomas) Peters Rencarge of Malcolm, AL; 6 grandchildren: Chris Warren, Shane Bennett, Jessica Warren, Kaine Bennett, Tate Bennett and Wendy Thompson; 17 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; brother: James "Gene" Luke of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 2, 2022 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
