Betty J. Pruitt, 84, of Nashville died Monday February 3, 2025, at Pruitt Health Sunrise in Moultrie.

She was born February 16, 1940, in Clarksville, TN to the late Leslie Chilton and the late Georgia Annabelle Faulk. She had been employed with Berrien Nursing Center as a food server and was a member of Ruth Forrester Missionary Baptist Church. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Anna Jane Stone and a brother: Teddy Edwin Chilton.

She is survived by her son: Rev. Jim (Rose Mary) Williams of Nashville; 6 grandchildren: Susan Richter, Breezie Stone, Anthony Stone, Nicole Plocki, Corey Stone and Leslie Stone; sister: Georgia McGee of Hopkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 5, 2025, at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Dukes III and Rev. Johnny Guy officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
