Betty Irene Vickers, 90, died Wednesday January 6, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on September 30, 1930 in Berrien County to the late Thomas Watson Shaw and the late Maggie Ora Devane Shaw. She was a homemaker and member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She was the widow Julian Avon Vickers who died in 2018. She was also preceded in death by: 2 sisters Mary Catoe and Doris Whitley; a brother: Tom Shaw.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry (Jim) Penland of Nashville and Tammy (Scott) Sherrod of Danridge, TN; son: Greg (Alvieta) Vickers of Nashville; 2 sisters, Martha Keffer of Nashville and Allene Brown of Nashville; brother: Raymond (Sheila) Shaw of Nashville; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Friday January 8, 2021 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Williams and Mr. Danny Culpepper officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
