Obituary

Bettye Rose Rigdon, 78, of Nashville died Wednesday February 12, 2020 at SGMC.

She was born August 22, 1941 in Berrien County to the late Marcelious Cumbus and the late Frances Williams Cumbus.  She was a retired food server with Berrien County High School and worked in home health for ten years.  She was a member of the Nashville Holiness Church.  She was the widow of George Emory Rigdon who died in 2000 and was also receded in death by six brothers and one sister.

She is survived by three daughters: Lynda Gayle (Lindsey) Lewis of Valdosta, Michelle (David) Sinclair of Valdosta and Sheri (Steve) Smith of Ocilla; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sister: Ann White of Eustis, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 15, 2020 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.  Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service.
