Beverly Ann "Bet" Moore, 77, of Alapaha, died Saturday May 13, 2023 at the Riverbrook Health Care in Homerville.

She was born February 4, 1946 in Berrien County to the late Roy Mathis and the late Dorothy Rogers Mathis. She was a homemaker and secretary for the former J.H. Moore Trucking Co. She was a member of the Alapaha Baptist Church, an instrumental part of the Alapaha Fire Dept. and the widow of Troy Russell Harrell.

She is survived by her daughter: Dana Harrell of Morven; 2 sons: Alan (Cathy) Harrell of Alapaha and Mike (Marilyn) Harrell of Alapaha; sister: Shirley Harrell of Nashville; brother: Dane Mathis of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Benjy (Shannon) Browning, Russ Harrell, Lance (Savannah) Harrell, Link (Jade) Harrell and Slade Harrell; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
