William Lewis "Bill" Lee, 81, of Alapaha died Sunday June 10, 2018 in Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 14, 1936 in Irwin County to the late Richard Lee and the late Nina Davis Lee.  He was a retired foreman with the former Hubert Moore Lumber Co after 45 years of service and a member of Alapaha Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Velma Shrowder and Sara Vickers; 2 brothers: Vernon and Otha Lee.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Ann Moore Lee of Alapaha; 2 daughters: Marsha Bradley and Pam Purvis both of Alapaha; 2 sons: Michael (Pattie) Lee of Moultrie and Darien (Andrea) Lee of Atlanta; brother: Kenneth "Slim" Lee of Alapaha; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday June 12, 2018 in Fletcher Cemetery at 2 PM with the Rev. Mike Gibbs officiating.  The family will receive friends in the cemetery after the service.
