Billie Bob Nix, 79, of Nashville, died Sunday November 5, 2023 in Nashville.

He was born May 25, 1944 in Berrien County to the late Willard Nix and the late Katie Boyett Nix. He was in construction with his family owned business for years, was a simple man who loved his family, had many dear friends and always wore his overalls. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathryn Renea Gurley who died in 2017.

He is survived by his daughter: Julie Nix of Kennesaw; son: Kenny Nix of Nashville; life partner: Linda Gaskins Nix; sister: Judy Collins of Cumming; 5 grandchildren: Amanda (Brian) Giddens, Jessica Gurley, Kristen (Trent) Desin, Stefan Allan and Kinzey Skellenger; 10 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday November 11, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
