Billie Sue Dean Summerlin - Fountain, 74, of Nashville died Sunday June 26, 2016 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born July 17, 1941 in Atkinson County to the late Ottis Dean and the late Henrietta Lewis Dean. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Summerlin who died in 1984. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Willie Dean and Jerry Dean and a granddaughter: Candance Wyatt.

Survivors include her son: William (Donna) Summerlin of Tifton; daughter: Belinda Griscom of Rome; 5 grandchildren: Amber, Tasha, Tylan, Terry and Kristen; 11 great grandchildren; 6 sisters: Eloise Harper of Alapaha, Lora Mae Sutton of Andalusia, AL, Gladys Foxworth of Cuthbert, LaTrelle Dean of Tifton, Pansy Crosby of Tifton and Edwina Skinner of Lakeland; 6 brothers: Ottis Dean, Jr. of Dublin, Benny Dean of Lakeland, Bobby Dean of Fitzgerald, Dewayne Dean of Nashville, Rev. Daniel Dean of Colquitt and Lewis Dean of Tifton.

The family has honored her request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Elder Robert Skinner and Rev. Daniel Dean officiating.
