Billy Joe "Bill" Flesher, 80, of Nashville died Friday March 22, 2013 at the Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR.
He was born January 22, 1933 in Hope, AR to the late Hulbert T. Flesher and the late Eve Beck. He was a retired MSGT of the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam. He was the election poll watcher for the New Lois precinct, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Ray Flesher of Nashville; 1 son: Phillip Flesher of Nashville; 2 daughters: Karen (Dale) Malinosky of Pensacola, FL, and Cathy (Anthony) Boyette of King, NC; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Juanita Burroughs of Hope, AR, and Florence Lombardo of Hope, AR; 3 brothers: Howard Flesher of Hope, AR; Paul Flesher of Palicades, CO; and David Flesher of Hope, AR.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 28, 2013 at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church of Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peay and Rev. John Evans Patten officiating. Interment will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
