William Vernon "Billy" Hogan, 88, of Nashville, died Wednesday May 29, 2024 at SGMC in Valdosta.

He was born May 22, 1936 in Berrien County to the late D.J. Hogan and the late Euna Mae Mixon Hogan. He was a retired beer pumper with Anheuser-Busch for 28 years. He was also a Mason and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by a sister: Josa Mae Moore and 4 brothers: John Marshall Hogan, Vincent Hogan, Dwight Hogan and Bobby Hogan.

He is survived by 2 sons: William G. "Greg" (Peggy) Hogan of Keystone, F L and Jeffrey Vernon "Jeff" (Pamela) Hogan of Callahan, FL; sister: Betty Jo Hankins of Jacksonville, FL; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 1, 2024 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill cemetery in Irwin County. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
