Billy Lamar Nix, 89, of Nashville, died Saturday January 21, 2023 at the Fellowship Home in Nashville.

He was born December 10, 1933 in Berrien County to the late Lucious Ernest Nix and the late Alma Harper Nix. He was a very hard- working farmer and member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother: James Lucious "Buddy" Nix.

He is survived by his wife: Olivia Payne "Libby" Nix of Nashville; daughter: Linda Nix of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Jeremiah Jilcott of Nashville and Macy Rogers of Nashville; 3 great grandchildren: Wallace, Scarlett and Toby; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 24, 2023 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary James and the Rev. Carl Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday thirty minutes prior to the services in the funeral home.
