Robert Wilson “Bob” Gaskins, Jr, 77, of Nashville, died Saturday, June 27, 2026, at his residence.
He was born September 3, 1948, in Berrien County to the late Robert Wilson Gaskins and the late Evelyn Guthrie Gaskins Dorsey. He was a retired insurance agent and agri-business manager. He was a member of the Nashville Methodist Church, graduated from the University Georgia where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his step father: Britt Dorsey and a sister-in-law: Peggy Gaskins.
He is survived by his daughter: Nicole (Morgan) Hendley of Nashville; 6 grandchildren: Riley, Ruby, Allie Marie, Rip, Bear and Lucy; 2 brothers: Doug Gaskins of Nashville and Jeff (Allen) Dorsey of Nashville; sister: Dee (Steve) Shiver of Nashville.
His family will hold a private graveside funeral service. Memorials can be made to the Nashville Methodist Church or the Berrien County Saddle Club.
