William R. "Bobby" Griffin, 86, of Nashville, GA died Friday, June 11, 2021, at La Estancia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Phoenix, AZ.

He was born December 11, 1934, in Berrien County to the late William R. "Rob" Griffin and the late Lillian Mathis Griffin.

After attending ABAC, Bobby started his career with Johnny Pat Web in Nashville at Standard Oil company. He later became a Sales Manager and Executive at Colgate-Palmolive and Vice President US Sales at International Playtex. Bobby lived in Waycross, GA, Tampa, FL, Seattle, WA, Stone Mountain, GA, Westport, CT and Alpharetta, GA, while raising his three children. After his professional career came to a close, Bobby retired to Hartwell, GA and enjoyed residing on Lake Hartwell and attending University of Georgia football games.

Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta and a long-time follower of Dr. Charles Stanley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Zane Griffin of Nashville, GA, wife Shirley Gish Griffin of Jacksonville, FL and wife Carol Willard Griffin of Marietta, GA.

Bobby is survived by his two daughters: Cathy Griffin of Pacific City, OR; Kelly Griffin Maza (husband Alex) of Gilbert, AZ; two grandchildren: David Maza and Jacklyn Maza of Gilbert, AZ; son David Griffin (wife Terry) of Hartwell, GA, stepdaughter Wendi Willard Bullard of Dallas, GA; and numerous cousins.

Graveside funeral services for the family will be held Saturday, June 26th at 10 AM EST in the Westview Cemetery in Nashville. David Bullard of Dallas, GA will provide spiritual services.

A public broadcast (streaming) video of the graveside service will be available and accessible via the Facebook page of Lovein Funeral Home at https://www.loveinfuneralhome.com .

Due to Covid-19 and Pandemic concerns, there will be no open visitation at Lovein Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.

On Sunday, July 25 ^th at 1:00pm PST / 4pm EST, the Griffin Family will separately conduct an online Celebration of Life Honoring Bobby Griffin, open to family and friends to attend remotely from their respective locations. The Celebration of Life session will be an online ZOOM meeting.
