Bobby John Jones, 75, of Nashville died Wednesday January 1, 2020 at his son's residence.

He was born May 11, 1944 in Berrien County to the late John Archie Jones and the late Lily Skinner Jones.  He was a retired manager with Mayweather Dairies in Valdosta, owned Mr. Bob's Meat and Grocery in Valdosta and operated an ice cream truck in Valdosta for many years.  He attended The Bridge Church and loved his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother: William J. "Billy" Jones.

He is survived by two sons: Brett (Alicia) Jones of Nashville and Bobby (Lisa) Jones of Nashville; seven grandchildren: Christian (Kass) Quiroz, Brock Jones, Bailey Jones, Michaela (Kyle) Edwards, Dred Jones, Drake Jones and Drew Jones; sister: Catherine (Dub) Odom of Pearson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday January 5, 2020 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddie Stone officiating.  Interment will follow in Guthrie Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
