Bobby Clifford McCorvey, 89, of Nashville, died Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Fellowship Home in Nashville.

He was born October 13, 1935, in Tift County to the late John Dan McCorvey and the late Mary Alice Dillard McCorvey. He was a farmer and member of Faith Chapel. He was preceded in death by his wife: Myrtice Kirkland McCorvey who died on November 6, 2011; 2 sisters: Bessie Lawson and Ola Mae Mathis; 3 brothers: J.W. McCorvey, Evans McCorvey and Marvin McCorvey.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Janet (Keith) Powell of Nashville and Patti (Mark) Karras of Valdosta; sister: Mary Sumner of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Ryan (Raquel) Powell of Valdosta, Maggie (Jon) Miller of Valdosta, Carter (Cady) Karras of Birmingham, AL and Kristin (Clay) Barker of Nashville; 12 great grandchildren: Anaiah, Micaiah, Elim, Blakely, Bo, Angelica, Jack, Emory, Henry, Wyn, Ruby and Charlie;  several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 18, 2025, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Mr. Ryan Powell, Rev. Mike Bennett and Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials can be made to Faith Chapel.
