Bobby Lamar Murray, 79, of Nashville, died Sunday November 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 5, 1943 in Berrien County to the late Edward "Buck" Murray and the late Julia Bailey Murray. He was a retired insurance agent and member of the Nashville United Methodist Church. He served in the Unites States Army and was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Pafford Murray; son: Keith Murray; 2 brothers: Billy Murray and Melvin Murray; granddaughter: Katelyn Alissa Morris.

He is survived by his daughter: Lisa Murray Mann of Bluffton, SC; brother: Larry (Denise) Murray of Braselton; 3 grandchildren: Jenna (Dustin) Barnwell, Taylor Mann and Dawson Murray; 2 great grandchildren: Beckett and Alissa; 4 sisters-in-law: Mary Alice Murray of Nashville, Frances Murray of Nashville, Margi (Bill) Chapman of St. Marys and Elaine (D.J.) Joel of Taveres, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 30, 2022 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
