Bonnie Ann Bush, 63, of Alapaha, died Saturday October 9, 2021, at the Eastside Medical Center in Snellville.

She was born June 30, 1958 in Berrien County to the late Thomas Junior Nelms and the late Shirley Ann Cersey Nelms. She was a homemaker, retired from Nashville Mills and worked at Berrien Middle School in the cafeteria.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, loved photography and her cats.

She is survived by her son: Brandon Bush of Clarkston; brother: Tommy (Susan) Nelms of Nashville; 2 nieces: Alisha (Rodney) Sirmans of Ray City and Courtney Nelms of Tifton; nephew: Chad (Amanda) Nelms of Nashville; great nieces and great nephews: Kyle (Catherine), CarliLeigh, Elly, Lee, Case, Trent and Lance; great great nephew: Darrell.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 11 AM in the Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Stan Stalvey officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM. Due to Covid-19, her family ask anyone attending to please wear a mask.
