Obituary

Bonnie Ruth Singletary, 66, of Nashville died Saturday June 11, 2011 in the South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born May 29, 1945 in Berrien County to the late Hardin Percy Rowe and the late Elsie Mae Anderson. She owned and operated Bonnie's Beauty Shop in Valdosta for over 40 years. She was a member of New Fellowship Church. She was the widow of Mose Daniel "Buddy" Singletary who died in 2003. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Betty Rowe and Gerry Wheeler; 2 brothers: Wilson Rowe and Dempsey Rowe.

She is survived by her daughter: Tammy Touchton of Nashville; son: Michael (Tiffany) Singletary; granddaughter: Haley Michelle Touchton; step grandson: Skylar Hamilton Brown; close friend: Rev. Archie Anderson; 2 brothers: Dr.Ricky (Marsha) Rowe of Quitman and Donald Rowe of Tifton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke and the Rev. Archie Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday after 3 PM with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM.
