Brenda Faulkner, 78, of Adel, died Friday, February 27, 2026, at Southwell Rehabilitation in Adel.

She was born July 4, 1947, in Mitchell County, worked for J.H. Harvey Company and for years worked in the Housing Department at VSU. She enjoyed flowers, painting, member of the AGLOW Women's Ministry and member of the Open Door Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Douglas Wayne Faulkner who died in 2024,  sister: Barbara Ann Cox; brother: Johnny Clover.

She is survived by her son: Doug (Kelly) Faulkner of Sparks; daughter: Lora Lynn Faulkner of Ellenton; 4 grandchildren: Joshua Ryan Robinson, Sean Daniel Robinson, Jessie (Hunter) Wilson and Daniel Faulkner; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Peggy Kend and Jeannie Harrell; special dog: Sassie

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 3, 2026, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary James officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
