Brenda D. Guthrie, 73, of Nashville, died Monday March 17, 2025, in the Langdale Hospice House.

She was born April 23, 1951, in Savannah, GA to the late Colon Sapp and the late Lillie Belle Sapp. She was a homemaker and for years worked at Guthrie Grocery Store. She was the widow of Ronnie Carl Guthrie who died in 2023 and was also preceded in death by several sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her son: Ron (Sharla) Guthrie of Nashville; 3 grandsons: Forrest (Liz) Guthrie, Blake Guthrie and Joey Whittington; 3 granddaughters: Meghan (Brandon) Raffield, Aly (Jarrett) Gipson and Cassie (Jamey) Purvis; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Sara Phillips and Coleen Drew both of Savannah.

Her family will honor request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
